I'm the proud creator of the Fullness & Grace Project and I'm so glad you're here!
My journey of self-development and self-acceptance started many years ago and it continues to be a priority of mine every day.
Life in my twenties was tough. It was a constant struggle of self-doubt, self-comparison and self-destruction.
Instead of having control of my life, I felt like life was just throwing me continuous curve balls, hard times and non-stop heartache. I couldn't focus on moving forward because I was so focused on everything that was going "wrong" in the now (or even worse, in the past). I was so concerned about what everyone else was doing and never felt like what I was doing was good enough. I thought I was just one of those people that didn't get to live a happy and fulfilling life.
So much I struggled with that I thought I didn't have any control over. And then one day, I learned the concept of self-coaching.
This concept changed my life completely and immediately. I learned that my thoughts are the only thing creating the world I'm living in. I learned that the only person's love and acceptance I need is my own. I learned that I deserve a beautiful life and it's as simple as just living it!
Join me on the daily journey of practicing self-development and self-acceptance. I will share with you all the incredible self-coaching concepts, tools and resources I use every day that help me to continue living a life of happiness and fulfillment.
When I say my journey of self-development and self-acceptance continues to be a priority of mine every day, I truly mean that.
I practice daily self-reflection, self-development, goal setting and self-care because I know how important (and helpful) it is in my life.
Take a look at where I'm at right now with my personal development journey, how I track my progress and how I continuously dig within myself to find areas of growth.
I've also added some helpful tools/activities/worksheets that you can use so that you can create a self-development routine of your own!Check out Laura's Self-Development Routine!
The story behind how and why The Fullness & Grace Project was created.
One of my favorite things in life is Saturday morning coffee time. I use that time to disappear into something I enjoy. Whether it’s reading, listening to a podcast, writing, baking, crafting, brainstorming—so many different things. All of which flex my creative muscle and feed my soul with inspiration. I enjoy relishing in the beautiful things in life. I whole-heartedly and unapologetically savor the beautiful things that I come across each day. I truly cherish the creative, encouraging, thought-provoking, life-enhancing, soul-warming things that everyone and anyone puts out into the world.
On May 24, 2019, The Fullness & Grace Project was created. It started out just as an Instagram account where I would post inspiring things that I came across—kind of like a friend who drops lovely, inspiring things in your news feed each day just to be sure you’re getting that dose of soul-sunshine. This went on for about a year and then one day, during Saturday morning coffee, I started daydreaming about what The Fullness and Grace Project could be if it was more than just posting inspiring things, but if it also actively helped women to embrace that inspiration and create the beautiful lives they dream of.
During this time that I started imagining what The Fullness & Grace Project could become, I had just gotten my Life Coach Certification through the Life Purpose Institute and was in love with the work that I was diving into. I focused my work on self-empowerment and helped women set goals, identify challenges, and develop action plans to reach their dreams. Not only was I coaching others, but I was using the coaching concepts that I learned and was self-coaching MYSELF! It was a life-changing experience to learn and develop knowledge around self-coaching and it’s something that I want to share with everyone.
The Fullness & Grace Project is meant to be a home for inspiration, self-development, self-empowerment, and love for women everywhere. It is meant to provide you inspiration, and also arm you with self-coaching knowledge and tools that allow you to take your life to the next level and create everything your heart/mind/soul desires.
The work I teach is work that I personally do every single day as well. Self-development is an ongoing practice that should take place all your life. Life continuously serves us new things (both beautiful and challenging) and allows us to grow through them. We have the choice to be intentional with that life we’re given. The Fullness & Grace Project is here to help provide you with inspiration to feed your soul, and knowledge to coach yourself through life so that you can be your strongest, happiest self.
Fullness: richness, depth, vibrancy (in life)
Grace: courteous goodwill (for yourself and others)
